I have two quality timepieces ( Alfex and Baume & Mercier) that both needed a lot of work. I put it off for years because the last time I had them adjusted at Tourneau I felt as if I was mugged. (long wait and startling price) The watches sat in my draw. I finally decided to try somewhere and after calling a couple places I talked with Ralph at Jewelry & Fix.

He said, "Let me look at them and I'll call in two days." He actually called in two days like he said. The watches both needed complete overhauls, mechanical and cosmetic. Ralph then gave me a price. ( I am not saying he could fix jeweled auto winding quality watches for 50 bucks but the price he gave was more then fair and less then I had thought)

I agreed and he got to work. After the Tourneau experience I figured it would be at least a week over the time he said and perhaps hundreds more then the price he quoted.

He got me my watches in the time and price he said. I'm not kidding.... on time and in the price.

Sure enough I go on Vacation and give one of the watches a real workout (swimming volleyball etc...) I notice a problem with the minute counter. I brought it back to Ralph. I though I knew the conversation... I would say the watch isn't working properly and he would say well you banged it around on Vacation and had it for two months so how is that my problem.

But no, he proved to be a man of his word. He said let me look at it and I I'll call you. When he did (in only three days) everything was fixed and no charge. He stood by his work and his word.

The owner Ralph Does Amazing work!!! I took in my Rolex Gmt II for service I had been in a car accident with it the whole watch needed to be repaired from the crystal to the internal movement. I had brought it to Tourneau and there quote was out of control for just the basic work and they would have the watch for almost 3 months. I went to ralph and He assured me the watch could be brought back to life and look brand new. I had my doubts when he called and said it would be slightly higher then his original quote but still thousands less then Tourneau. He fixed the watch very quickly and The watch looks Brand new like I just bought it out of the showcase and runs perfectly. He is very easy to deal, Honest and very knowlegable in high end watches.
