Kumo Sushi Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Beware of bugs in the food! I’ve been ordering from Kumo 1-2 times per week for about a year. Tonight I ordered a bunch of rolls. While eating, I spotted something crawling in my sushi rice. I looked closer and came to find some sort of fly that looked liked a spider with wings on it. I was so grossed out, I called the restaurant to let them know. When I informed the lady there’s a bug in my food she goes you want to bring it back and get a new one? Why would I want a new one after I found that?! Then she kept saying what do you want me to do?! Like uh, I spend so much $ at this place don’t you think the right thing is to refund my money?! Then I said I don’t want anything from you I’m just letting you know there’s a bug in my food she started laughing (probably cause she already knows) and goes I have to tell the chef. I’m never coming back to this place. Her laughter said everything...

This place is extremely rude and they don't care about their customers. The guy who delivered my food first delivered it to the wrong house. Then I asked for contactless delivery but he was right there in my face and when I tipped him he said "that's it ??" He continued to be so rude and when I called the restaurant to talk to a manager about how rude the guy was ... some guy picked up and started yelling at me when I said I only want to speak to the manager

I will never buy anything from this restaurant ever again. And I'm complaining about them to better business bureau and I also saw a mouse in their restaurant once but said nothing because I don't want to mess up anyone's business. These is how these people treat you and...

Was looking for a new sushi spot & found it. Great location. Very spacious restaurant with a nice atmosphere. 🦋 the quality of food was very good. Everything we got felt very fresh. 🦋 our waitress last night seemed overwhelmed, we had to keep trying hard to get her attention. 🦋 so we got the maki combo to start & we chose option B with miso soup, it was very good. 🦋 from the special rolls we got the the -Tiffany Roll . So delicious! It’s heavy, but very good. -sushi sandwich - it was good, but it needed something crispy to hold & feel it…felt very mushy eating it…so it wasn’t a pleasant experience -drank hot tea
