Mikey Mattress — Local services in Town of Hempstead

As long as Mikey is in the mattress business, I will not buy a mattress anywhere else. My experience with Mikey Mattress was top notch. I had bought a king size Beautyrest Black mattress during the Labor Day sale. The following Monday I received a call from Mikey himself saying that the one I bought was actually out of stock and that he was upgrading me to the Beautyrest Black that was a step above the one I had bought. After comparing the two mattresses, the upgrade was night and day. No comparison at all. Mikey himself was a great guy with a great attitude. He went above and beyond to fix a mistake. Shipping was super fast. I had the mattress by that following Monday I believe (I'm 800 miles away). As for the mattress itself, I have slept on it now for 2 months and this thing is a beast! The mattress I had before was making my lumbar vertebrae hurt every morning. It usually took an hour of moving around for it to go away. After a week of sleeping on this bed, the lower pack pain was non existent. If you're not in NY and cannot get to his store, my suggestion to you would be to go to a big name store, try out the mattresses there, figure out the one you want, then call Mikey Mattress and see what they can do for you. After my experience and they reviews other people give, I can promise you they will hook you up. You're going to get a legit mattress and your pockets with be heavier than if you were to buy it at that big name store. The mattress I was reviewing was the Mariela extra firm. So if you like extra firm, this mattress is the way to go!...

Two weeks ago, I bought a mattress and adjustable base from Mikey's Mattress. The saleswoman, Jo, was amazing and spent about two hours with me (really!) because there were so many comfortable mattresses to choose from. After narrowing it down to two, she suggested the lower priced mattress (yes....you read that right!) citing the fact that she watched how I laid on each mattress and it was the best choice for my sleeping positions. When it came to the adjustable base, I decided on the one with all the "bells and whistles" over the standard adjustable base. (I figured I am getting up in years and, since it has a 20 year warranty, I'd probably be dead by the time it was over!) The young men who came to set up the base and mattress couldn't have been more professional. They took the time to check each position and ensure I was happy with my purchase. I felt neither pressured nor rushed while shopping or during setup.

Having done a week's worth of shopping at other stores, i.e. Macy's, PC Richards, Casper, I know I made the right choice in both my mattress and choosing Mikey's for my purchases. The fact that I saved about $1000 was a great bonus!!

I've been sleeping on this bed for about 2 weeks now and I love it. So do my grandchildren! Jo really knows her stuff......I never want to get out of it!!
