Wok Buffet — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

One of the worst buffets I have ever been to. You don't usually expect to much at a buffet and that's what you should expect from this one, actually you should be expecting to be eating dried out tasteless cold crappy food and waitresses that don't even wait for you to finiish the food before they are trying to rip the plate out from underneath you. A few of the seafood items I had were cold. Every form of chicken I had was dried out, chewy and tasted horrible, pork was like chewing on a rubber band, fried rice was tasteless, probably the only thing there that was worth anything was the lo-mein. They dont even have sweet and sour chicken which is a star at chinese restraints but if they did they would probably screw that up as well. Want to go to real buffet go to Minado's off of Glen cove road across the street from voice road. You will get real food there that tastes good and is worth the price and you won't leave that place feeling sick to your stomach. I wish I could give no stars to be honest.

6+ years ago, this place had some sort of bug infestation where my friend's sister had found a bug in her food. Apparently, I completely forgot that that was the reason why we stopped going there.

A few weeks ago, I went again after not being there for a while. I've never had to go up to a couple of waitresses to ask for the check after they apparently missed checking our table when they had only 4-5 tables to attend to. Two waitresses. Before that, we were waiting for them to check on tables for possibly 15-20 minutes. They were on their phones the entire time.

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We took our family here to eat based on the lower prices advertised on the front door and the 6.99 kids price. The food and presentation was not good. Food was cold and old. Everything with the exception of the fried fish and peppered steak was either too salty, too greasy, hard to chew or had a funky taste. I was hoping to have a better experience but left feeling nauseas. On top of that, the restaurant charged us full price for my 10 yr old. Although, the restaurant has a large sign advertised on the front door with the children's price listed, they charge by the height.
