Woodcrest Oceanside — Local services in Town of Hempstead

This is a great apartment building to live in Oceanside. It’s right next to the train station for work, and nearby to the Oceanside Library and the park. We’ve renewed our lease twice, and only had one (small) rent increase. Water, gas, and trash is included in the rent. Electricity and internet is not included. We pay extra for covered parking. The leasing office and maintenance staff do great work keeping the apartment building clean and running, and are responsive to our emails and questions. It’s also nice that they’re proactive with maintenance (checking fire alarms, changing the filters, etc) as seen by the email notifications we get. The only con is that the fitness center is small and the hours are limited, which makes it hard to use the facility before...

Woodcrest has been an amazing place. They were very accommodating and the most helpful/friendly people we’ve worked with when comparing all of the apartments around the area. They are truly luxury apartments. I’ve seen some complaints for the prices but to be fair, the prices are pretty comparable to the area for a 2 bed/2bath. Maybe a little more but you do what you get what you pay for and this place was worth it. The place has been amazing. We moved in from out of state so if you’re looking for a place, check this place out. We tried to nickel and dime by saving a few dollars but this place is perfect and in the perfect spot. My experience with Woodcrest has been great. When I first looked at the apartment, they worked on my application expeditiously. Gencion and Karen in the leasing office have been nothing but the best throughout our lease term! The building is very well kept and Genc (Maintenance/ Superintendent) is always willing to assist and takes care of any issues promptly. If its anything serious, Justin, the property manager takes care of everything. He genuinely cares about your experience as a tenant and he responds in a timely manner, regardless of the time of day.
