Thai Ramen and Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

3 stars because I have had many good meals but am upset with some recent experiences. My food has been 5 stars but tonight… 2 stars is generous.

I have ordered from this restaurant many times and there seems to be a consistency issue with respect to the flavors of the dishes. I have never left a review but feel passionate in letting the restaurant and patron know that the food is either amazing or terrible and there is no in between.

The dinner that I ordered tonight was over $130 and it was not only bad, but tasted completely different from the dinner that I ordered on 11/14/2024. On both occasions, I ordered pineapple fried rice, curry puffs and edamame in garlic sauce. I cannot even begin to describe how different they were tonight (11/25/24). I’m genuinely upset.

The only logical reasoning to me is that there were different chefs each night because the food legitimately tastes as if two different people used two different recipes. The 11/14...

My kids & I LOVE Thai Ramen ! They have amazing bubble tea .. my daughter gets the honeydew milk tea w lychee jelly, my son gets the chocolate milk w no boba, & I get the peach green tea w strawberry popping boba. Besides that, my kids love their appetizers & so do I. The mozzarella sticks are the best I’ve had & my kids love the popcorn chicken, fries, shrimp tempura, & chicken wings. I usually get the drunken noodle entree & it’s delicious. Besides the great food .. I left a very expensive bag there the other night that had my whole wallet in it including cash. I didn’t realize until the morning .. I went there when they opened & thankfully they had held my bag for me & it had all the contents in it. BEST freaking pad thai I have EVER had in my life!!!! Large portion size I had this for 3 meals! Such, such good boba tea my favorites are the blueberry (never seen that anywhere else & its sooooo good), peach (had this at other places but nothing beats this place), and the strawberry. I hope to try more flavors soon. Also they are open SO late everyday which is convenient for myself as i’m a night owl. I love that I can just decide as late as 11pm that i’m craving a boba tea. I’m in rockville center & this is less than 10 minutes away from me. Man working at the front so nice and the chefs are so kind too.
