What a terrible experience! Let me preface this by saying I've never been to a burlington before this and thought for sure it was similar to a TJ Max, so I was very excited to hear one was coming to my town. BOY WAS I WRONG. I'm not sure if all locations are like this but the Huntington store is not at all like TJ Max. It is very much more for extremely low income/homeless families which is fine but this shopping center was JUST starting to clean up a bit. We got a nice grocery store and even a damn Cycle Bar. But then they went and but this trash heap in and ruined the whole thing. Ok so first of all, for a brand new store, it is absolutely disgusting inside. It wreaks of dirty feet everywhere. There is a ton of dead space and it feels very "warehouse" and not at all relaxing. The lighting is worse than a hospital. There are signs covering aisles warning people against stealing, so you're guaranteed to feel super unsafe walking around in there. Just know, you're being closely watched to the point it's uncomfortable. Some of the staff was weirdly flirty and looking at me in ways I did not like at all. Everyone in there smelled like BO, staff and customers. A little girl ran past me and smelled like she hadn't bathed in weeks. I understand stores like this need to exist but it doesn't belong in this shopping center. Not after it just got so much nicer. They should have put this nasty store closer to the train station where the homeless people live. I don't mean to sound so harsh, but this store just ruined years of progress on this shopping center. If I had more energy, I'd start a petition to have it shut down because it's really that gross. Stores for low income families don't have to be so gross and uninviting. I've been to thrift stores way nicer than this that didn't smell like a middle school...

One was in use so I asked to have the second one unlocked and the employee just said no. No explanation why, just no. I waited a few minutes, but the person in the only available room was still using it. I left a cart full of clothing...
