I cannot say enough good things about Patrice and her business, Eyewear by Patrice.

For context, I had complicated eye surgery a few years ago, performed by one of the top VitreoRetinal surgeons in the NYC area (and likely anywhere). For ongoing follow-up, my care is coordinated with a talented ophthalmologist/glaucoma specialist and surgeon here on Long Island.

My eyeglass prescription is complicated. Thankfully, my vision is excellent with glasses.

My doctors highly recommended that I work with Patrice, and luckily, she is close by.

Patrice is an expert at interpreting prescriptions and getting it right the first time. Little did I know that not all opticians are created equal. She is incredible at getting the technical aspects of the lenses right—in my case, it makes all the difference in the world.

Aside from her technical expertise, she has a pleasant demeanor, a really nice shop, and is GREAT at helping to select frames that work. Her one-on-one consultative approach, as opposed to that of high-volume sales retailers, is refreshing.

The selection and availability of top-brand eyewear are impressive. There was a particular frame I saw online from a nice brand that I wanted to check out. Amazingly, she had it in stock—wow!

There is an excellent selection across a wide range of brands, styles, and price points.

Patrice is my go-to eyewear professional. I am extremely pleased that I found her shop.
