Okay, Verizon, you need to clone John now! I had gone to different Verizon locations to get a wall charger and cable for my durapro force sport phone by Kyocera. I was given the wrong cable and wall box on two separate occasions making me drive back to return them. I then called Verizon directly to order it over the phone and was told it would be delivered to me. I had to go away on a trip and didn't have a wall charger when I returned on the third day I left a signed paper as instructed by UPS to leave the phone after I had signed for it. Instead they sent the phone back. I drove to Northport Verizon on Port salonga and had enough juice in my phone too speak to Mike inside the store. Mike was friendly and personable and came outside for curbside assistance since I have severe scoliosis and stenosis. I could not get into the store. He not only took my phone to help me because my car charger also broke into two hours before. He brought the phone inside, tested all the parts and was able to do the transaction for me while I sat in the car. I left now having a car charger and a wall charger with cable that actually worked! Previously, my transactions with Verizon stores and with Verizon directly took over a month and a half with no chargers at all. Many thanks to Mike for his professionalism, kindness and knowledge. I only wish others in the world would follow his example for true customer service with a smile. They should promote you and give you a raise.for helping us and caringMike was caring, kind, professional and was the epitome of what customer service should be everywhere. It was so nice to have a person who took pride in their work and understood what a professional demeanor with a heart of gold thrown in. I was so happy to have someone understand the situation we were in and could not believe that this month and a half nightmare was solved by this incredible person. Verizon should promote him and give him a raise....

I want to take a moment to recognize Joseph at Verizon for his truly exceptional customer care. Joseph exemplifies everything youâd hope for in a customer service professionalâheâs thoughtful, genuinely caring, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Whether itâs your first visit or your fifth, he treats every interaction with the same level of attentiveness and kindness. Iâve had the pleasure of working with Joseph on several occasions, and he has consistently been nothing short of delightful.
During a recent visit, I observed a rather disappointing moment involving one of his colleaguesâunfortunately, I didnât catch his name. A customer had generously given him a cash tip, specifically suggesting he use it to buy lunch for both himself and Joseph. However, when asked later what they planned to get for lunch, the colleague casually replied, âOh yeah, MY customer tipped me,â clearly showing no intention of including Joseph as the customer had wished. SHAMEFUL! I found this behavior quite despicable and disrespectfulânot only to Joseph but also to the customer who made the thoughtful gesture. The other colleague is NOt at all a team player and even worse displayed this poor behavior in front of me, a long time Verizon customer and the other store worker. I am sure Verizon corporate would frown upon this distasteful act and condemn the employee for creating a negative work environment. Based on witnessing this experience, I would never choose to work with that individual, ever!
Joseph, on the other hand, remains a shining example of professionalism, integrity, and genuine care. Verizon is lucky to have him on their team, and I cannot recommend him highly...

For background, I was upgrading my phone because I got a deal on my verizon app. My brother had recently upgraded his phone first and it was a breeze, so easy. It was NOT however at this particular store, it was clearly at one that has competent employees who have the knowledge and customer service abilities to do their jobs efficiently and swiftly.
What really did it for me was actually not the incompetence, though that was annoying, but the self righteousness of the employees. For people who donât know how to do their jobs they certainly have egos that tower mountains above the little theyâre capable of. The man-splaning was unbelievable, comical even. Will NEVER come to this store again. Would rather go anywhere else than deal with...
