I went here last night with my friend and the place seemed really sketchy, that shouldāve been the sign to hop up outta there and bolt. Walking in was hella confusing because no one said anything to us! We had to walk up and grab the menu ourselves and then walk up and ask to order.
Once we ordered i sat down in a booth and the booth was rocking back and forth! Didnāt feel stable at all. Our fried rice came out suspiciously fast and it was dry and tasteless so we had to dump loads of soy sauce on it to get any kind of flavor. Soon after my miso soup came out too but the woman held it with her fingertips, not on a tray which was a little weird and unsanitary if you ask me. Shortly after we saw the same woman walking towards us with what we assumed was our sushi (Philadelphia, Shrimp Tempura, and Spicy tuna rolls) but she turned back around because they forgot to put the CREAM CHEESE in the Philly roll!!!! Thatās the most important part!!! We ate the rolls anyway because spent $16 like Iām not gonna waste it. However as i was eating my rolls i was chewing on the salmon in the philly roll for quite some time, very hard to swollow (i only ate 2 cause it was impossible to eat) and as i was eating my spicy tuna roll i would come across some tiny hard things that i assumed was sesame seeds but at this point Iām not sure.
My friend and i were very disappointed with the service and the food when we left. To make the situation even better we ended up with FOOD POISONING! We both have terrible stomach aches and are puking quite often, shouldāve gone with my gut feeling and left the second we got there. DONT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOrdered takeout here for the first time. Was slightly skeptical from seeing the mixed reviews and experiences but nonetheless I decided to give them a try since most of my go to Chinese places are closed on Mondays Ordered the sesame chicken lunch special, that came with Wonton soup and I also got Dim sum one of my favorite appetizers to get and honestly I was pretty impressed. The food was still hot and fresh even when it was delivered. Portion sizes were very sizable for the price and the flavors were just where they needed to be! From the savory dim sum, tasty salty pork bits in the fried rice, and a slightly spicy sesame chicken sauce. Only real let downs was the wonton soup tasted off, like it was made with a Miso base if I had to guess. Some of the onion bits in the fried rice didn't taste as fresh and stood out in a bad way. If I had to give another rating I would give it a 7 out of 10 for being really solid and surprisingly tasty even with some off bits here and there it wasn't as bad as some other reviews made...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMessed up my order twice in a row. They treat soy sauce packets like they're gold. I asked for extra, I got 2- total! Asked for chopsticks- none. This was on an order with enough food for 3 people, no less. The crispy beef is literally all beef. Big portion, but no vegetables at all? A giant tupperware of beef? Menu doesn't mention it being very, very sweet either. Other items were good, but Hot & Sour soup is stingy on the tofu.
Delivery guy wouldn't speak to me, just turned his back and walked out in a huff after receiving his tip. Seemed rude on the phone, long delivery time, too. Same delivery guy reportedly tried to con $10 out of another resident. Go with Golden China instead.. Nothing but good things to say about that place's service and food, even if their menu...
