Replacement of Entry Door and Exterior Storm Door:

Excellent and the highest compliments and gratitude to Bob and his work team. Our home is somewhat old, being built in 1894. Everything seems off level with hidden issues that are uncovered once work begins. A replacement entry door and storm door may seem benign, but given the characteristics of our home, the project took one full work day. Bob's attention to detail and aim for perfection, as if our home was his own, resulted in a top-quality outcome. We did look at Lowe's for a turnkey solution for this project, but had some concerns given the unique structure of our home and a past, extremely negative experience with Lowes.

Bob is a true artisan, and his craft and skills are absolutely versatile. We have future projects planned for our home, and Silver Fox can do them all.

Bob is trustworthy and honest. He kept us informed of the scheduling and the project requirements and outcome. Bob is a member of the community, which is also a plus.

We wish we found Bob two years ago when we had significant renovations to our home with a not-so-honest contractor from Centerport.

My kitchen reno and new beverage center are fantastic thanks to Bob and his crew. They did an amazing job taking down a load bearing wall between my kitchen and dining room. It really transformed my dark and closed in 1890 historic American Four Square home into an open and airy beautiful space. We were so nervous with the wall removal but Bob was very professional and cautious. He recommended a reputable architect to spec out the requirements for a safe and sturdy structure. They were able to land the posts into existing posts in the basement to avoid having to add any new posts. It was a very efficient and smart design. They nailed the aesthetics but also workmanship and quality. Bob, Jesse and Doug were great to work with too. They were here working long days and very accommodating as challenges arose, like the new refrigerator not fitting into the alotted space by less than an inch. I found Silver Fox Construction on Google and hired them to fix my broken railing in the fall. They did an incredible job and also noticed that my siding had multiple layers installed improperly, just by looking at it. Bob and his crew came back this spring to install new siding and discovered the wood around multiple windows, the back door, and part of the house itself was rotten from water damage. They solved every problem that came up in the process with ease. 3 sides of my house had to be redone top to bottom and there’s not a single inch I wish was done differently. I truly couldn’t be happier with how everything looks and knowing it will last for a very long time is even better. Bob and his crew were great to work with and very respectful of my home.
