Camp New For Kids — Local services in Town of Islip

What can I say.... my family and I LOVE Camp New For Kids!!! We've attended many events, play sessions, and a private birthday party, since it's opening, and we've never had a bad experience. The facility is huge and is always clean and attended to. It's a parents dream to let their children run and play in a venue like Camp New's. Everyone is safe, indoors (weather is never a factor), and there's ample ample space for them to really run their sillies out! Overall the atmosphere is so laid back. Good Music is always playing. Snacks available/for sale if needed. The attendants who they employ are always so kind and extremely helpful. My family and I have attended their Easter Egg Hunt this past spring and it was one of the BEST Easter celebrations I've attended with my kids. It was a chilly day, but because their venue is indoors, we had the best time and didn't have to worry!! We've also attended events there in the dead of the summer!!! Despite the heat, the facility was perfectly cooled off and so comfortable. An awesome reprieve for a sweating momma and her kiddos. If you've ever run into the family who owns Camp New for Kid's, you'll know why the venue is so great. They are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. The way they tend to their family, is the way they tend to their business. With dedication, care, so much effort, and love! From the outside, you’d never expect how spacious it is inside. Once you enter, it opens up into a large warehouse-style room fully covered in turf. The turf is well done—soft and safe, perfect for running and playing, especially for little ones who may take a tumble.

My wife and I went with our daughter for a birthday party and we both enjoyed the layout. It’s not a climbing gym or jungle gym type of space—more of an open field concept. The party area was nicely separated with screening for food and drinks brought by the host.

The only downsides were that there weren’t many toys or play structures available, and we didn’t see staff actively wiping things down while cleaning up—which is something we like to see in kids’ spaces.

We’ve had our son’s birthday party at Camp New for Kids the last 2 years. Our son and his friends had an absolute blast! There were plenty of age-appropriate activities for the younger kids, and the group size was just perfect, so no one felt left out. The best part was how Camp New creates a safe and nurturing environment, making it easy for us parents to relax and enjoy the day while knowing our kids are safe and having fun.
