Not impressed. Ran in to grab some cookies and a card for a birthday thinking they could offer something special. Cookies behind the counter are nothing special that you couldn’t get at the bakery section of any super marker, but even worse the service and lack of a sense of retail mission. I asked if they might be able to give me two feet of ribbon (there were over 100 items with the same red ribbon on display). “No, I am not allowed” said I’d pay for it. “No, we don’t do that.” Said please let me speak to the manager/owner? When my local baker suffered a medical emergency, I needed to locate someone who could fulfill my custom cookie order for my nephew’s 5th bday party. Kim at Cookie Kneads was recommended to me. I sent her pics of the kinds of cookies I’d like and she responded quickly with a fair estimate ($120 for 24 cookies) of what the cookies would cost. I smiled when I picked up the cookies as I knew my sister and nephew would love them! The store is also gorgeous and her employee was kind and greeted me warmly when I entered. Even though I live in Queens, I would absolutely return to Kim and Cookie Kneads for my future baking needs....

I needed some custom cookies last minute for a baby sprinkle. I called the shop and sent what I was looking for to Kim the cookie decorator. She responded quickly with a price and spelling of my nephew’s name. I was able to pay via Venmo and I picked my order up when it was ready. The shop was beautifully decorated and I took some cookies home that were on display for my kids to enjoy. Not only were all of the cookies beautifully decorated, they were delicious!
