I brought my 3-year-old to the grand opening of Lancaster Indoor Bounce House this past weekend, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The space is thoughtfully designed with young children in mind and offers a wide variety of engaging activities. From multiple bounce houses, a giant chalkboard and classic prize games (like a claw machine; don’t forget to bring some dollar bills!), there was no shortage of fun. One particularly charming feature is a build-a-bear-style (Safari pals) station where kids can create their own stuffed animal and dress it up with accessories and a birth certificate. My little one absolutely loved it.
I also really appreciated that food and drinks are available for purchase on-site. It made the day far more convenient, allowing us to enjoy lunch without needing to leave and return. The facility itself is spacious, giving children plenty of room to run and explore freely, and the overall atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming. The addition of ample adult seating, along with complimentary coffee and tea, is a thoughtful touch that goes a long way for parents and caregivers.
I’ll definitely be returning soon, and I’ve already recommended the venue to several of my fellow parent friends. It’s a fantastic addition to the area and a much-needed option for indoor play, especially for younger children.
A few suggestions that could enhance the overall experience:
A check-in/check-out security system: Such as wristbands or another method of verifying that the adult who checks a child in is the same one checking them out. While the space is open and inviting, it can be easy to briefly lose sight of a child in a bounce house or around a corner, so an added layer of security would be reassuring. I've seen this done at other establishments and it is always appreciated by the parents.
Consider designating both restrooms as family bathrooms. It’s not uncommon for toddlers to need immediate access, and if the designated restroom for their gender is occupied, this could lead to unnecessary stress, or even accidents.
Improve visibility on social media; particularly Instagram. Many parents of young children rely heavily on Instagram to discover new local spots and events. A stronger presence there, with regular updates, behind-the-scenes content, and promotions, would help the business grow and connect more directly with its core audience.
That said, these are simply ideas for future development, and I have no doubt that the team will continue to grow and refine the experience as they settle into their first few months. I’m genuinely excited to have this fun, safe, and thoughtfully created space to share...
Read moreWe had an absolutely amazing experience at Lancaster Indoor Bounce House! The staff was professional, fun, and incredibly attentive—truly going above and beyond to make our visit special. One of the biggest standouts was how clean the entire space was, which is such a huge plus for a kids’ facility.
The pricing is very reasonable across the board. Snacks are so reasonable kids can go with $5 and get a couple things, and the arcade is refreshingly affordable—no outrageous credit hiked systems here. The games are easy to play and the credits actually go a long way! They also have their own version of Build-A-Bear, with a great selection of animals, and the best part is the kids get to help stuff them on site—such a fun and interactive touch.
We rented the space for four evenings to celebrate the final week of the 716 Dance Lab season, and it was a hit with everyone—from toddlers to teens, and even our staff! Every age group had a blast.
Thank you so much to the team at Lancaster Indoor Bounce House for such a fantastic experience. If you haven’t been yet, you...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible venue AND service! My child's birthday was rained out so I contacted the owner, he reassured me the entire time they could accommodate over 20 5 year olds, their parents/siblings and two sides of family members! Frank and his family/staff ordered us pizza, helped carry/set up/clean up decorations, stepped in with everything we forgot (cake cutting supplies napkins etc) and truly saved my entire party! I cannot praise this place enough... there was tons of seating for adults plus charging stations super clean bathrooms and floors not to mention quality changing tables/supplies in both the men and women's bathrooms, complimentary tea and coffee... the tiki theme is so cute but still has bounce houses of all styles and sizes, a sensory area/fenced in area for littles... the absolute perfect place for a party or a quick stop in. 100/10 will be going...
