Wish they used cup and char pepperoni, but that's mostly just bc I'm an old school Buffalo pizza fan (East Side born and raised! Not quite born early enough for Lombardo's or wherever it was that all the legends talk about, but Avenue Pizza Broadway & Bailey, Partners, etc., H-E-L-L to the yes!).
Atmosphere very very welcoming. Service was excellent. Jasmine at the counter was friendly, polite, and patient with questions. Open-air setup was unique and showcased their clean and orderly food prep areas/assembly system.
They offer 2 different kinds of sauce (regular and sweet), even on slices, and both were very good. Plus I got a punch card for a free slice after buying 10. Nice touch!
Menu is colorful, well designed, and has numerous coupons attached with above-average-quality deals and discounts.
It was really hard to figure out how to actually enter the building. It's the old Save A Lot building, but it's complicated bc there's no arrows or signs, and I'm kind of a ditzy blonde sometimes (a lot of times). Friendly employee came around to show me and I followed along on the other side of the glass until I found the entrance... Lol.
TL;DR: Great new addition to Lancaster's thriving pizza scene. Well...
Read moreOkay so This place had me waking up pissed off the next morning,,This place has the potential to be something family friendly and nice in This town..Kids working the shop, families wanting to eat.... But it was a disappointment, Theres nothing very welcoming and the kids seem miserable working for somebody who is a probable dirty businessman who can afford such a space and gets off charging the prices that would make a grown man weep; for the pizza in my opinion was really not good at all and at its price, I was walking away shaking my head. It also didn't help that when I walked into a full line of people I saw a menu to pass the time and the prices on the menu did not relate whatsoever to the price i was given, so then I knew I was being played. so there i made my next realization and it was that this place is to generate money like some dirty little pizza factory and has no care at all for the people or food, and also right when I was to pay a lady was also complaining...
Read moreI'm giving this 5 stars because of the pizza crust alone. I haven't figured out the best way to order the pizza yet, but I will. The sweet sauce is very sweet. Don't go into this thinking Buffalo NY style pizza. It's its own thing. I had to order it with extra sauce and cup char pepperoni to get it to my own liking. Next time I'll order it with extra cheese as well. Again, I'm going through the trouble of ordering it different ways because the crust was so good that even if everything else was mediocre, it's still worth you going here to try their pizza. So for me, if I had to give constructive feedback, it would be to have more toppings on their pizza to match the thick crust. Any pizza place that opens up in Buffalo from a different city or town has some balls. This place is onto something. A few tweaks and they would be one...
