I purchased my hot tub from Majestic in March 2023. My salesman, Daryl, was more than willing to work with me to help find what I wanted at a price I felt comfortable with. Making a major purchase like this could have been a stressful experience, but he was patient in answering all of my questions, not applying pressure to just hurry up and make the sale, and arranging all the financing and delivery. At the time I made my purchase, my patio had not yet been poured, and I needed to wait for a couple of months to take delivery. This was no problem for them to accommodate.
The delivery was prompt on the agreed-upon date, and the crew brought it in and set it down with care. It arrived undamaged and unblemished.
The guy I really want to recognize, though, is Tim from the service department, who came out to walk me through spa start-up after my electrician got the tub wired up. Tim spent over an hour explaining every feature of the tub, water care, maintenance and best practices in detail. He answered ALL of my questions (and I had lots) and put up with my meticulous note-taking. By the time he left, I felt confident that I had a handle on what to do, despite being a brand-new hot tub owner. Tim also, by the way, has a fantastic sense of humor! (BIG shout-out to you, Tim! Majestic, if you're reading this, you have a true gem!)
I take a water sample to the in-store water lab roughly once a week for testing and to get a precise breakdown of what chemicals and amounts need to be added to keep the water balanced. This service is free and I've found it extremely helpful, as I find the test strips often unreliable. It eliminates guesswork. I've been pleased to discover water maintenance really isn't that difficult, time-consuming, nor excessively expensive.
I don't winterize my tub and yes, I will admit, it has increased my electric bill particularly in the cold-weather months, with the energy needed to keep the water hot. Even considering this cost, it is 1000% worth it and I have never regretted my purchase.
I'm in my tub at least two and sometimes up to seven nights a week. The hours of relaxation I've enjoyed and especially the therapeutic benefits to my back, hips, shoulders and feet are invaluable.
I LOVE my hot tub. Best gift I've ever given myself. I highly recommend Majestic for their knowledgeable, friendly and accessible staff, fair pricing, and willingness to go above and beyond "basic"...

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, I wasnāt able to move forward with the purchase. I reached out to see if I could at least receive a store credit, fully understanding I wouldnāt be getting a refund. I was told no ā and that per the fine print on the back of the contract, deposits unused after one year are forfeited.
While I understand policy is policy, Iām disappointed that a locally owned, family ā run business wouldnāt show a little compassion or flexibility, especially for such a significant amount of money. I guess they needed the $3800 more than I did. Just something for other buyers to be aware of before handing over a deposit.

As I stated originally, I take full responsibility for my situation in placing a $3800 deposit on a hot tub and later being unable to proceed due to unforeseen personal circumstances. However, when I reached out respectfully requesting the possibility of store credit, I was told by your staff member that she would need to check with the owner and will call me back ā which she did not do. At no point did I demand a refund. That claim is completely false. When I called the second time, I was then told that after speaking with the owner, no store credit would be issued due to fine print on the receipt ā not because of any further discussions or alternative offered. Your response here contradicts the communication I actually received. Are you now stating that store credit is being extended to me? Because if that is the case, it was never communicated during our calls. Additionally, the claim that you made numerous calls to me over the years is a clear exaggeration ā I received two calls, which we never spoke and I can verify.
