Tops — Local services in Town of Lancaster

Tops has pretty much anything you need and besides groceries,they also have citizens bank, a service desk where you can pay Bill's get money orders ect. And they have their own pharmacy but not all locations have a pharmacy. I do have an issue with the way the employees treat me one perfect example was the day before the blizzard right before Christmas 2022 I went in for one thing, I used there coinstar machine and had got my slip for $22 and change, so I proceeded to the service desk gave the worker who was very rude handed me my money and all I got was $2 and the change still being owed $20 and he said I would have to wait until he counted out his drawer so I left my name and number with a manager it took a week to hear from them and the manager said that the service desk employees drawer was $10 over and that's all they were going to give me. So as I was busy moving my mother to a new apartment I went to tops several days after the manager had called me and I go in and speak to the manager on duty and she said because she wasn't the one who called me I would have to wait until that particular manager was working and she had also commented to me why have you waited so many days to pick up your money which is none of her damn business and still to this day I never got my money. So they'll get there's one way or another. There slogan should be (tops never stops...

I'm a former employee of this absolutely beautiful establishment, and the amount I've stuff I've seen should deter you from the store. The produce sits for a while before being changed out, and is beyond stacked in the coolers when old/near expired produce is put out before fresh. The near expired is then wrapped at a discounted price and sold, most are nasty. The floors everywhere are rarely cleaned well and the carry out cafe floor is so sticky and disgusting. There's rat traps all around the store and BLACK MOLD in the produce room on the walls. You'll never have a cashier ready and waiting like Wegmans, since they only schedule 1 or two at a time. I live across the street and go to the Losson Road Wegmans because it's so much better...

Terrible store! Just awful! This store honestly sucks smh. First of all, the bottle return machines are always broken. $6 for 3 apples, like really? Shelves are always half empty and never fully stocked. The place is disgusting and filthy looking. When we went to check out, there was only one cashier. So we had to do self checkout. The woman in charge with semi long gray hair seemed really bit*hy and miserable. She was very rude towards a customer infront of us and then was rude when we were checking out. Customer service was awful and I don’t recommend this tops to anyone. The manager should be ashamed that they hire such awful...
