I attempted to schedule an appointment, I have 3 days to complete a screening. I originally was given a very short and hard time frame to work with as it was a Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (the solar eclipse). The only day that was feasible is Saturday. I tried to make an appointment on Friday. There were no available times. I called 3 seperate times to figure out if I were to do a walk in if I’d be able to be seen. I had the understanding of priority and would be understanding if I couldn’t be seen due to this. I was assured I could and it would probably be fine. There was no information anywhere that quest stopped drug testing at 9 AM (except for on the door walking in). I asked and asked to assure this wouldn’t happen. I got in at 9:25, When I went in I was met by a provider without asking me anything just telling me to come back in. I asked “can I get drug screening” she replied “no” and as I walked out mentioned “we could it’s just too late”. I found this very rude. I understand a lot of it was my poor planning. There is also no indication that they stop testing at 9 am. I then attempted to go to the Niagara Falls location where it also has no indication of testing ending an hour before close except for on the door. I got in at 9:55 and couldn’t get in. I have no idea if I’m even able to get in on Monday, and my job is on the line that I have worked so...
Read moreI'm very surprised that all of the staff at this location has not quit. The only reason this location is doing as well as it is is because the staff care so much that they skip lunch breaks coffee breaks, and power through at an unreasonable pace.
It is completely understaffed and although employees are professional and holding the location up with their own sweat equity, it is completely unfair to them and if the staff had any less integrity it would be the patients who paid the price for this.
The only thing standing between quest diagnostics and patient disatisfaction is the two girls who are in there every single day making it work under completely unfair labor expectations.
Make those employees permanent and full-time. Adjust their wages, show them you appreciate this, or you will likely lose them, and this location will no longer be tenable.
The employees deserve 6/5 rating for their professionalism, speed, and compassion and for hanging in there while quest takes it advantage of them, but quest diagnostics deserves 1/5 for their poor treatment of employees.
Please do better for your...
Read moreI have chosen to go to the Lewiston NY location for quite awhile now. I can say they are efficient, professional with being very kind and personable with anyone any age walking thru the door. With all the changes of checking in, they go out of their way if someone is have an issue or problem doing so, especially since they are very busy keep up on walk-ins as well as scheduled appointments. The location is always clean, well kept and when you are called in to have your bloodwork done, they are so pleasant and make anyone feel comfortable while drawing your blood or any samples required. I have terrible small veins and they listen and are so caring to this, even I am pretty comfortable having blood drawn. The rooms are clean and well-kept and nicely decorated to make you feel comfortable. I have had Angela a couple times and she is very good at her job. I had Jordan, this last time, just as professional and nice as can be. I will go no other place to have my bloodwork completed. 10-stars out of 5-stars for this whole staff and crew at...
