What pharmacy closes during lunch? Do they not have enough pharmacists or employees to run the pharmacy to keep it open? Because I can’t count the number of times I went to pick up a prescription and they were closed for lunch. THREE TIMES I had a prescription called in on a Friday and was told it would be ready on Monday. And today? Today is Friday, and a family member had surgery and was given a painkiller. The first time we tried to pick it up the pharmacy was closed for lunch. The second time we tried to pick it up a couple of hours later we were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. At least an hour went by and on our third attempt to pick it up we were told it was out of stock and would be filled on Monday. When I asked what we were to do for pain until MONDAY, I was told to go to a different pharmacy. That would be great except for the fact that the prescription was called in and I didn’t have a paper prescription. So I called the doctor’s office to request he call a new prescription in to another pharmacy, but he was closed. For the WEEKEND. So here we are with no pain meds for the next 72 hours and by then, the pain would probably be gone, or at least the worst of it. ...
Read moreHands down the worst experience at a pharmacy bar none. 62 years old and unfortunately have been on one or another of pain medications for well over a decade. Since Having to use Walgreens instead of my regular RX Rite Aid for these medications it has been an absolute nightmare. If there not asking inappropriate questions their questioning what you know to be true with respect to the rules and regulations. And get ready if they put you on hold to speak with pharmacist, you could read war and peace while on hold and write a report about it. Spend less time questioning customers about irrelevant things and use it to expedite your service. I only gave 1 star so that I could vent on your horrible service, you actually deserve less. No edit just an update simply stated zero improvement pharmacist could not even stop to speak with me instead just walking asking questions about my meds so the entire store could hear my personal business, straight HIPPA violation. Can not stand dealing with these...
Read moreI had to pick up prescribed medication for a relative who could not get it herself. Pain meds. Been doing it for years with no issues. Sign outside the drive-thru say they are short staffed. Understood. I went in. On break. No problem, I could wait. Shutters open, I pick up the meds and provide the privacy security information. Question asked by the person behind the counter “Will the oxycodone be it for today?” Out loud. With everyone hearing it in the line behind me. Thanks for the discretion. Now I really need to watch my back. Or was that because I fit a profile of someone who might be stealing opioids? So if my relative went to get it, instead of me, what would happen if someone attacked her in the parking lot? Or me? What happened in the last year that you’re doing this? We would appreciate implementing Walgreens...
