Verizon — Local services in Town of Montgomery

If I could give my overall experience here a true review it would be 1 star, but my 5 star experience with the amazing Rep (Skye) I initially dealt with would have been a 5, hence the 3 star average. I don’t live in the area, but my significant other does, he was kind enough to get me a new phone for my birthday, and we ordered it with Skye, she was really informative and patience, she explained everything and was very thorough. We ordered my phone on a Friday, and Skye reached out to let me know it was in the following Tuesday. Because this was a trade in I needed to go to the store to pick up the item and complete the transfer. Luckily I was off the following day, but Skye informed me she wouldn’t be in (bummer), she told me her manager would know all of the details. When I arrived at the store on Wednesday morning, the manager and another employee were there. They were very cold, in fact the manager never acknowledged me once. I was told I’d have to wait 2 hours for a transfer “go run some errands” I was told (“America’s fastest network”- and a 2 hour wait). Well, I couldn’t do anything because they had my phones and I didn’t know where the hell I was without navigation. So, I was left to roam the strip mall. When I came back, the price wasn’t what was discussed with Skye, and although I pulled up the exact numbers they still charged me a significant amount more without explaining a thing. Bottom line, I would never come to this store in the future unless I was dealing directly with Skye. I rarely leave reviews. However, this needs to be shared. I bought an iPhone 13 for my son in October. We took advantage of a great trade in offer of $400 off his old phone if we purchase a new phone on a certain unlimited plan. He was starting college and needed a reliable phone. I had the quote in writing. We show up to pick up the phone and they notified us that the price would be double the quoted price since they ordered the phone under my phone number instead which was the wrong plan. They couldn’t fix this error. I had to purchase the phone at the wrong price and they promised that they would give me a credit each month on my bill to make up the difference since it was their error. They initially said it would take just one billing cycle to fix. This seemed reasonable, so I went along with it. Fast forward to the middle of February. I pay my bill on time every month and have not seen a credit yet. I call every month and am promised that the manager will return my call and fix the error no later than one more billing cycle. She has yet to return one phone call. I am very disappointed. They made this error and I am paying for it every month and probably will for the next 19 months. I have used this location for Verizon service for years but I recently had an amazing experience that I felt the need to share. I went into Verizon to see about upgrading my phone not wanting to increase my bill by much and I was skeptical on if this would be a possibility. I walked into the store and was greeted by a beautiful smile and warm welcome by their employee Siya. I explained to her what I was looking to do and not only did she help me do an upgrade she also gave me information about other promos Verizon was offering so that I could also get an Ipad and a watch. So I walked out of the store that day with 3 new devices and my phone bill did not increase that much at all. She explained everything thoroughly to me, helped me set up my new devices and even helped me pick out a cute new phone case. The customer service experience was like nothing short of amazing. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable on Verizon services and made sure I fully understood all the changes to my next bill.
