Loving Moments Florist — Local services in Town of Mount Pleasant

Let me just say, I have never posted a Google review and will probably never post another but I created an account today to warn others about the horrible service I received from this florist

Last week my boyfriend surprised me with flowers at work & when I unwrapped them I was very underwhelmed. At first, I thought maybe he didn’t spend a lot of money on the arrangement and it’s the thought that counts. However, after some investigating I realized that was NOT the case and began to feel sorry that his money went towards a half dead and sad looking arrangement.

I emailed Carol the owner very upset that this is what I received and asked her to refund him and if she had any questions to contact me, a few moments later I received a phone call from a snappy and rude woman who had NO customer service skills at all.

At first she told me she would not refund us but would gladly come pick up the flowers if I did not want them. So I agreed for her to come back to my office and get them. When she arrived, I pointed out all the dead and drooping flowers and she barked back claiming they were alive and “not fully bloomed” and trust me any person knows the difference.

After a snippy tone, and being attacked at my office, she agreed to refund us and took the flowers, which I thought would be the end of it. HOWEVER she had the audacity to then email my boyfriend with a condescending tone that “nothing would have pleased me, and I was upset at how inexpensive the arrangement looked” implying that he picked a cheap arrangement. And ended the email with (PS she doesn’t like this specific type of flower) How. Rude.

I have NEVER experienced this type of treatment and would never complain about flowers or a gift. But I want people to be warned that this florist is below par and there are numerous others to choose from in the area. Check out the pictures that prove it. I needed a special arrangement for a funeral for a family member and could not be more grateful for the gorgeous arrangement Loving Moments Florist made for me and the great service. I called and spoke with Carol who was so courteous and respectful and provided sound advice about the best arrangement for me under the circumstances. She listened to all my preferences and went early in the morning the next day to her wholesaler to get the freshest flowers of the kind I was requesting and was even able to secure a heart shaped base that I wanted that has recently been hard to come by. The florist appeared genuinely caring about my desire to really send off my family member with a very special arrangement. The arrangement turned out stunning and more than I could have hoped for. And the pricing was very good given the luxurious arrangement they curated. I don't usually leave reviews but this service was so good it deserves...
