So, I don't know where to begin. I purchased my 2018 Fatboy from Moroney's back in October of 2018, purchased a 5 year Extended Warranty, an HD Tire and Wheel Protection, HD Appearance Protection and HD Planned Maintenance. Denise was very helpful with my purchase and I was satisfied, until I had to actually use the Service Department to cover the paint that was coming off of both the front and rear fender of my Fatboy.
I called over prior to bringing my Fatboy in, Kim took pictures of the bike and sent them off to Harley Davidson to see if it would be covered under the Factoru Warranty. Because of the date of purchase it was not which I had understood this, but then I had mentioned about the HD Appearance Protection Plan that I had purchased and it was like no one at the Dealership had ever heard of this. So at this time I had to bring the bike back again for Kim to take more pictures. A few days went by and I heard back that it would be covered, great I thought, scheduled and dropped the bike off.
At the time that I dropped the bike off I was told that it would be 4 weeks, bike was dropped off in the beginning to middle of July, and I was told that it would probably be back around the 6 to the 7th of August. While speaking to Kim about that date, I had mentioned that I wouldn't be back in the area until probably around August 20th, because I was going to Sturgis, she said that wouldn't be a problem. Low and behold time went by and I hadn't heard anything from Moroney's Service. After making several calls to them over a couple of weeks I finally started to get some answers. When I called over on September 3rd, Kim had told me that the tins had just gotten back from getting painted, was told that the bike would either be completed that night or the next day, informed her that if it wasn't completed by early on the next day it would have to wait for pick up on Tuesday since I was going away for Labor Day Weekend. Didn't hear anything back, the following Tuesday I called over and spoke with Vinny, he informed me that they're waiting on missing hardware, and I had asked what missing hardware and got told it was not done yet.
Finally Friday September 11th came, Kim calls and informs me that my bike is complete and ready for pick up and the nails me with a well Harley covered up to $900.00 for paint and you owe us $500.00 for labor, which knocked me out of socks. I pulled out the contract, which doesn't state anything about this, I contacted the Insurance/Warranty Company that stated that I didn't owe anything and if there were further expenses that occurred it was the dealers responsibility to contact them. Now I get over to pick the bike up, Kim hasn't called the Insurance/Warranty Company which isn't my problem, Vinny brings my bike around finally, not cleaned as I was told it was over getting washed, I don't know what by. Start looking over my bike and find that my docking hardware is not on the bike, with Vinny standing right there, I informed him of this before he could go anywhere. I go back inform Kim, finally after another hour the bike comes back around, I take off from the Dealer I go home, while at home I notice that first of all, they installed my docking hardware backwards and I also notice that my paint on the fenders is a lot darker than on the gas tank. Moral to this all, I was not happy with Moroney's Service Department what so ever, especially when they do not know about all of the products that are being sold over on the Sales Department and apparently they...

This Experience with Moroney's so Far has been the Very Best to Date, from the First Time I called an Inquired about a 2015 CVO Street Glide, I spoke with Salesman Kyle Stewart, the Harley CVO was just brought into the Dealership from the Auction the asking Price was $28,995 they didn't even have any Pics of the CVO Yet, Kyle did Everything he could to get the Info on the CVO for me. Kyle was able to Download all the Paperwork for the CVO with all the Modifications that was done to the Engine and Transmission which added to Almost $23,000. Kyle Sent me Pics a Video and Paperwork on the Engine an Transmission with his Personal Cell# of the CVO I was Extremely Impressed, Even after they Found out how much Money that was Spent on the Engine and Transmission they never Raised the Price on me which they could have Easily. Read moreI'll give Moroney's one star for the only two people I have any use for, and they are Denise and Jamie. Recently, I went to the Service Department for Rotors. When the bike was done the Rotors looked used, there was grease all over my wheel, and my wheel bearing looked rusty. I voiced my concern and was told that bikes get wet by the girl in the service department. I looked at every bike new and used and could not find one with rusty wheel bearings on the lot. If this was an older bike, maybe, but only two years old and garage kept, I don't think so! More recent I went in for New Tires and to Dump some More Money on other things. The Young Woman in the Service Department said she had them in stock.. so I asked to see them but she was more interested in eating her ice cream, telling customers that she doesn't pull parts out of her butt, and told me her shoulder hurt. I asked if she would like me to get them with her, she said no, parts would get them. She told me the tires are out in Parts Department for me to check out. After waiting for about an hour in total the parts guy closest to the service department said I don't have them in stock and I'm not getting them. At this point I lost my patients, through up my hands and just walked out of the store.
I'm in the Service Business and if this were my business a few people would have been fired that day. When you spend a premium for a product and get sub-standard service it tells me that America is in trouble. I guess I'm used to the service I...
