Better Homes — Local services in Town of North Dansville

I purchased both a new adjustable bed and top of the line recliner shortly after the begining of the year from Better Homes in Dansville. Shortly after my recliner was delivered, I experienced a problem with the chair back. One of the support brackets broke. I called down and spoke with the owner who immediately ordered me a replacement back for my chair. He made sure to explain to me that it isn't as simple as having another shipped to me because they actually have to manufacture a new back at the factory. The timing was exactly as he said it would be. Even at that, it didn't take long at all. Setting expectations is something alot of businesses do not do these days. Fast forward to current month, October 2021. I noticed that when closing the foot rest, the back of the chair stopped coming up. I was having to reach back and pull it up myself. Once again, I called down to Better Homes and spoke with them about my problem. They immediately apologized and asked if I would be home the next day around 1? I had to ask if he meant to say the next day as I figured a week or so would be a more reasonable time frame for a service call. He assured me that it would be the next day. Sure enough, at 1pm the following day, they were here! Some adjustments were made but it still failed to come up. The service techs asked if they could come back the next day because they wanted to speak with the owner and contact the manufacturer with a few questions. The very next day, they returned and had it repaired and working as it did the first day that I sat in it within just a few minutes. I can not say enough about Bill, his wife and the rest of the staff at Better Homes. I will be needing new furniture soon and I plan to only shop with Bill and the staff at Better Homes Dansville! I purchased a recling sectional from Better Homes, after going to 3 different furniture stores and not finding exactly what I wanted. After walking through their clean and all organized showroom, I found what I had been looking for! And to make things even better, the price was over $1000 less than the sofa I thought I was going to have to settle for! Plus they had a special going on, so I was able to get an area rug (5'x7') free.
