Nassau Knolls Cemetery — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

My Mother has been buried at Nassau Knolls for 40+ years. My Grandparents had the plot and gave it to my Father when my Mom passed away un-expectantly at a young age in 1980. I have been visiting the cemetery at least twice a year over the 40+ years. The grounds are always well maintained. I do not live locally anymore so I have been using the service supplied by Nassau Knolls to ensure her grave is decorated for all of the holidays. The decorations are always in place and of quality of the decorations match to what I paid. Twice in the 40 years I found that my Mom's plaque was sinking slightly. Each time I let the office know and they made the necessary corrections.

I personally want to thank the staff for the wonderful job they do. I am flying up to NY next weekend and will be visiting the cemetery again for my pre-Christmas visit. My Mom has company with other family surrounding her now. I'm looking forward to saying hello to...

No map, benches/landmarks have been moved (making locating a gravesite from memory difficult), grass looked like it was cut by a 12 year old in a hurry, many flat headstones were overgrown by weeds, and ankle twisting holes covered by foliage...
