Yes We Can Community Center — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

The building is very nice and clean. However there isn't much to offer kids Besides basketball. There are a lot of games and other teams who come to play in the center but the center doesn't really have a team. So there's really nothing to offer the kids in this community. It's a big location but really a waste of space as far as the potential it could have. My 7 year old loves basketball so he comes to this location but there are not many children his age there and Nobody is really watching what goes on when it's free play. Because the kids are older for the most part he was getting bullied around so he did not want to return which is not fair because he meets the age...

Though I've been in the area a while, I only joined today. The facility is immaculate, equipment (in the gym) has been marked off to ensure social distancing, the staff was friendly & exceedingly patient with my litany of questions. One minor complaint - I listen to talking books while working out & the facility's wifi has determined that the library app is unsafe. Love going to this gym. Fair price for Monthly membership and also have the option of paying for the day. Open basketball courts. Gym is downstairs filled with equipment for a great work out.
