Dowell gets 1 star for their product and 0 for their customer service and business ethics. Dowell is the worst company I have ever dealt with. First off, they charge a 4% service/handling fee on credit card orders which is illegal in the state of NY. We confronted dowell and they made no attempt to rectify their process. Second is their communication, unless you speak Chinese you will not be able to discuss anything with them. Finally they have a good product at a reasonable price, however having said that my company cannot associate with their negligence on not being able to communicate with their customers and their inability for doing the right thing. There is a lifetime warranty, but only if you still have the receipt. The reality is, who still keeps a receipt of a bath faucet? Also, this is DOWELL branded. Why would a receipt be needed?
Do yourself a favor and splurge for higher quality hardware. Even the lower end Delta, Moen, and Kohler products have excellent customer service and support. If I have issues with parts, a replacement is sent with no questions asked.
