Verizon — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

This Verizon store is the best! I’ve been here a few times just for accessories and to return cable boxes and everyone is always friendly and helpful. Today I came into the store just to return a FIOS router. Well, I ended up leaving with a new phone (iPhone 13) and a brand new Apple Watch 7. Bobby Saad helped me out with the FIOS equipment return, he noticed I was browsing the new iPhones and offered to check my Verizon account for an upgrade offer. Turns out 4 out of the 5 lines on my family plan were eligible for an upgrade. I was able to trade my XR For a 13 for FREE- only had to pay sales tax, what a great deal. He found other offers for me too, I just purchased an Apple Watch from Amazon and he was able to find a great offer for me to add my watch to the plan and I will receive a $100 gift card from Verizon which was fantastic since I planned on adding my watch eventually anyway. Bobby also found a great offer on my account for $150 off an Apple Watch so I decided to get one for my mom (tomorrow is Mother’s Day). I walked in to return a router and I walked out with a brand new phone and an Apple Watch for mom for at an amazingly low price. All that was left to do was pick a phone case which Bobby also helped me out with. I can’t thank Bobby enough. I will be back today or tomorrow with the rest of the family to upgrade their phones....

My husband and I were in search for an upgrade for his iPhone 11. We stopped at the store in Massapequa where we worked with a guy who was zero help. He didn’t tell us anything about promotions or deals. Actually told me there was nothing that could be done with my Apple Watch either. So we just did the whole transaction through the my Verizon app to pick up the phone at another Apple Store in Farmingdale.

We got to the Farmingdale location and unfortunately the last blue phone my husband wanted was sold out to someone right before us. Thank god it did because from there, Bobby was able to cancel our transaction, trade in my Apple Watch to the best one, upgrade my husbands phone, gave us free service to Disney, Hulu and espn. Upgraded our plans etc. We now have much better service on our devices because Bobby actually took the time to talk to us and explain all our options and how we can save in other areas. THANK YOU TO BOBBY AND THE STAFF at this Verizon location for going above and beyond and helping us...

I wrote my review the day we were at this store but I am updating this review. We were in NY on vacation when my husband's phone died so we went to what we thought was the nearest Verizon store. Apparently this is not actually a Verizon store even though it says Verizon in big letters on it. My husband had insurance on his phone through Verizon and each time he asked about it, the salesman said it wasn't showing up. Turns out a real Verizon store would have had a new phone sent to him at no cost the next day. This salesman told us if we both switched to the Pixel 2XL that we would save $40/month. Then he put the insurance on the phones even though we said we didn't want it which we only discovered a month later when our bill came and was more than it had been before. ..by a lot. Now that our local real Verizon store took the insurance off, we will save about $20/month, not $40. So although this Farmingdale store retrieved lost data, they pretty much misled us and ripped us off. Wish I could...
