We have purchased multiple pieces through Ashley Home Furniture. Most recently being a sofa, paid extra for the protection package. Needless to say the “protection package” has miles of grey area that make it so the protection doesn’t apply to your purchased furniture. After multiple phone calls with Ashleys regarding our personal situation, multiple redirections to other departments. We STILL have no result for our couch that we paid extra to have the “protection.” Instead we were told that it would be all at OUR COST?!?! I have since networked out and spoken with a former manager of Ashley’s who states that framework is covered under State Law in both NY AND PA. Irregardless of discontinuation of product or manufacture warranty. Also stating that there is no standard help to quality of customer service. Which I firmly agree with and which was made obvious during this whole encounter. From the local store in Weston Mills NY, to the corporate service representatives. I can confidently say that if you are wanting quality service and quality furniture, look elsewhere.
(UPDATE)11/30/2022 Called number that was provided in response from Ashley’s to original review out of Weston Mills NY. Spoke with representative who again stated that since manufacture warranty (AKA ASHLEYS) along with sofa fabric is discontinued there is no resolution that can be provided neither in store credit nor replacement of couch of same or lesser value. Received a phone call from agent Id 1225 Shannon out of Batavia New York warehouse. Was told that she was the highest level of “management” that we were able to speak with. Was also informed by Shannon that the only reason she called us was because she had to, and didn’t have any resolution to our issues we had presented. This issue was originally presented to Ashley’s in early 2022. We STILL are getting no resolution and have networked out to a former manager of Ashley’s who as we already stated In The previous review informed us that by state law in both NY AND PA framework is covered for seven years. Ashley’s IS the manufacturer, they may have changed the frame for the model which makes our model discontinued BUT Ashleys is still the manufacturer of our couch. As is all there furniture. Read moreMy father and I went to the Westons Mills store on the 8th of August 2016. Bought 2 new mattresses for ourselves. Yesterday, Saturday 8/20/16, the delivery guys showed up to deliver them. My father's mattress was there, but when I looked inside the back of the truck.......... I noticed that the warehouse didn't load up any box springs or frame for mine. I mentioned this to the gentlemen making the delivery. They looked kinda confused, then asked me if I had my paperwork. I showed them what I had. Two phone calls were made and things were straightened out. Because there was a mistake, the store offered me a $50.00 instore gift card or $100.00 off of my bill. Now I will say........that is pure class ! They didn't need to do this. I understand that mistakes happen and nobody is perfect ! I set up a delivery date for next weekend. I'm happy with how quickly the issue was dealt with. That's service ! I will be shopping there again very soon ! I will tell anyone that wants to listen to take a trip out there first before looking any other places !...
Read moreI don’t know who is in charge of the stock/shipping but today I was expecting a delivery, I waited until 2pm to call and question the lack of furniture in my house and all I got was “We had to reschedule your delivery. We made an attempt to call you two days ago” Thinking I had missed a call, I went back on my call log, not one call came in to my phone on Tuesday, only one call went out. They gave no reason for delaying our shipment, and said the next date for shipment was not guaranteed either. Very upset, seeing how I spent $4,000 on this purchase I will (at the next shipment date) have been waiting a month for. Even during the purchase at the store it was odd, as we purchased protection on one of the items and we were told it was “going to be about $115” and as we were checking out and going over the receipt we were told “So it ended up being a little more, it’s going to be $200”.
