If I could give zero stars I would. Just went to dollar tree in Pomona to get some items. After I purchased the items the cashier place them in a bag. As I lifted the bag everything fell to the ground because she had put all the items that I purchased together. She did not check if the bottle was closed and it got the books wet. The worst part was that the cashier placed the items back in the bag- when I checked the books were wet. I told her I can’t take these because it’s not my fault that you place an open bottle in a paper bag. She said I should go back for the books. I picked out about 10 books which took me a while because I had my daughter in my hand. I said I can’t go back to pick them out if someone could help. She said no and I said ok- I would like a refund. That’s when she told me I can’t be refunded, which I told her I was not aware of. She said it was on my receipt and I said I don’t have a receipt because she didn’t get to hand it to me before the bag broke. I’m very upset because two other workers came over and hand the stinkiest attitude telling me that there’s nothing else they can. A male worker passed by and apologized after seeing their reaction. I had a mask on but no glove, i wasnt going in there to touch everything (just what i needed) I told both female employees that I had no glove and that I couldnt find any because they are all sold out wherever I go. They didnt care and told me to get out , on my way out I wanst looking and didnt see the trash can close to the exit door. I knocked it over by accident and then I guess they thought I did it purposely and started shouting even more harsher and profane names at me. All for essentials I needed and I had no gloves. Today, I made an exchange for 2 items, however, AMIR, I think he is the manager, wouldn't give back my original receipt that he have to keep it, I told him that I never had that issue in any Dollar Tree that I'd been to. I told him I have to keep my receipt because I need to scan it for my FETCH Account, he just let me took a picture ofnit.. I am really disappointed about it & I told him that I will never shop in that location again. I really like shopping in that location because it has a lot of stuff that the other location doesn't have but if the staff you have is not nice & have different policy & I don't think I can shop there again.
