After seeing Benjy’s face all over social media and seeing the name Smash House practically everywhere I had to try it out myself to see if it legitimately lived up to the hype. Of course, I had to try the loaded smash burger. For $25 it’s not bad. The burger is kinda soggy and overall a bit disappointing but the toppings like the facon and veggie cheese gave it a nice kick. Sauces are great too. We came to grab a bite on Father’s Day. We have had great experiences at the Queens and Manhattan loctation. Here though the service was horrible. The staff was not accommodating and made like they were doing us a favor for putting something on the side. When we got the chicken fingers they were burnt and hard. They said they can’t do anything. At the end I said something again and finally got some new ones. My husbands burger came not toasted. I’ve never been to a place I’ve had so many issues in one sitting.
