It’s difficult to express how much fun a trip to the supply house can be when it’s to Plimpton and Hills! I’ve stopped in twice over the last week to size up and get some help with a whole new ductwork system for a renovation of our old old house 😂. Not only was I met with patience, good humor and an encyclopedic knowledge of all things HVAC but I was treated like an old pal stopping by to shoot the breeze by every single person who worked there. Allot of extra time was taken to make sure to help calculate my system and to ensure I understood how I was to approach every element of the job. Marcus (along with everyone else , I’m just terrible with names) went the extra mile to make sure I was looked after. As a total amateur , supply houses can sometimes be miserable places to go, hence why a lot of us end up in Home Depot and I do understand why, however, Plimpton and Hills set the standard for what it should be like, friendly, professional, approachable, extremely knowledgeable, patient and a hell of a good time !
