Peck's Market — Local services in Town of Rockland

Peck's Market, especially the Livingston Manor store, is my favorite local market. Over the years Peck's has been right on top of heath and gourmet food trends. Peck's features local farm fresh meats, eggs, cheeses and baked goods. As an organic food and grass-fed meat consumer I greatly appreciate the selection of certified organic food at reasonable prices. The store is always clean and the checkout service is excellent. Pecks is the market in Livingston Manor. There are no others. It's actually employee owned since Mr. Peck retired. They try to be responsive to the community, and since the NYC refugee population is growing they are responding with more gourmet, farm-to-table and deli options. It's a good place run by good people, and LM as a whole has a lot more interesting options for food and drink then even a few years ago. Went to the deli to get sandwiches. Was ignored by the people who work there. Asked if we could get sandwiches, they said no. We asked when they close, they said now. I get it, it sucks - but if you close at 3:30 then you close at 3:30- this was 3:24 and they weren't nice about it.
