Jerusalem Market — Local services in Town of Salina

As much as I like promoting local businesses I feel this business needs to be pointed out for its bad practice.

The place is very unkept and unhygienic. I would not bring my kids to this store.

A lot of the products on the shelves are expired. Please double check the expiration date of the items before you purchase.

Last but not the least please double check you receipt after purchases. Don’t be surprised if u have to pay an extra 2 dollars on your bill for miscellaneous items on it.

Wonderful market and the owner is awesome! I stopped in yesterday to buy halal meat for some visitors. I was greeted immediately by the owner who treated me to a delicious dessert his wife had made, and as I was making my meat choices he gave me a sample of their freshly baked pita bread. It was still warm!! The young man in the meat department was friendly and very helpful. He gave me some suggestions about seasoning and cooking kabobs for my company. I hate to rate this place this bad but the new owners are not like the previous. I’m an old customer for this place but recently we’ve noticed that they erase expiration date and type new ones, you can see easily the trace of the old one! We bought sausage and when we opened it it was spoiled and slimy! I’m so disappointed of this place most of their products are expired and they increased the price about a dollar on some items. I was relying on this place so much for middle astern grocery shopping, but I won’t go back there it’s time to find...
