The office personnel are great. I had upper eyelid surgery.Day of surgery they did not have meds ready and to expidite my husband picked them up. I sat for about 2 hrs before my eyelid surgery. Dr. Marrotta came in the room and drew very quickly on my lids. Surgery went well no issues. 3-4 weeks after surgery I noticed my incisions on both eyes were different. I wanted to have my one lid revised but was told I should wait it will be fine and should take 6 months for full results. It’s OK but would have liked my right eyelid to be the same as my left. Had an appointment for pictures but cancelled. The office called to ask why and I let them know that I went to a plastic surgeon to get the best results. They said to come in and Dr. Marrotta would look at me and he could do a revision maybe in 6 mo,s they were very booked.I decided not to go in because this was an issue after 3-4 weeks and should have been taken care of at that time. I have no dry eye or other issues. Dr. Marotta only did OK. Should have revised when I wanted. We know our own bodies the best. This is in response to office comments.. It’s been a year since my upper eyelid surgery and the right eye is as I told Dr Marotta after 6 weeks visit. Spoke to friends who have had same surgery and they had correction after 6 week visit not the year of waiting. You can tell the way it’s going to heal definitely by 8 weeks. The office response makes it seem like I didn’t get to all the post op visits. I went to each one. My original complaint is that the incision on the right eye was crooked and droopy and that was at the 6 week visit and was told this would all settle into place and I should really wait 6 months to see the full result. I believe Dr Marotta did not want to deal with it and figured if I waited a year I wouldn’t go back. I am going to another plastic surgeon to fix the droopy eye. How does a plastic surgeon feel good about sloppy work. My left eye is perfect. How did the right eye go wrong? It was a jagged cut from the beginning and you don’t need to be a doctor to see it. Dr. Marotta should have revised early so I wouldn’t have to go thru surgery again and healing and black and blue all over again. The office contacted me a few times after 9 mos and reading this post. Dr Marotta did good on my left eye. The right needs a revision and I’m going somewhere else. Hope this is...
Read moreI went to Dr. Marotta in March 2013 for a facelift, chin implant and upper eyelift. I was 54 years old and already looked 45 before the procedure. Dr. Marotta suggested a fat transfer to my lower eyelid to fill in a hollow. I agreed. My final results were this: No perceivable difference for facelift. The goal was to get back my jawline. This didn't happen. As far as the eyelift, again, no perceivable difference. I still have fatty deposits near the corners of my eyes and hooding in my eyelids. The only difference I see are scars. As far as the chin implant, I now have a horizontal line across my chin where the muscle is pulling and you can see where the implant was inserted. The lower portion of my mouth looks like a ventriloquist's doll. The worst part, however, were the fat injections. Not only did Dr. Marotta put them in the hollow of my eye, but he filled up my cheeks. It was horrible and I was told that it would take a year to see the actual results. I waited the full year for things to "settle" and still look like a chipmunk. Worse is that the fat injections under my eyes have turned into lumps, as scar tissue has encapsulated them. In addition, my face is not asymmetrical. I have been to Dr. Marotta for follow-up visits over the last year and a half with my complaints and he says there is nothing he can do for me. He insists that my face was already lopsided and says he's sorry that I'm not happy. I have just gone to another doctor to try to balance out my face. He is giving me a "cocktail" of injections to my bloated cheeks to try to melt some of the fat. In addition he is injecting Juverderm in the other side of my face to give me balance. I've had to get Botox injections by my chin to reduce the horizontal line of the chin implant. However I still have jowls and hooding. I spent $20,000 with Dr. Marotta and am now spending thousands more to look normal with another doctor. It's been a year and a half and acquaintances still don't recognize me because of the bloated cheeks I was given. The look is very much like "ET". NEVER GET FAT PUT INTO YOUR FACE!!! It is a complete guessing game for a doctor as to how much will be reabsorbed by your body and where it will ultimately settle. Also be sure you find a doctor that will make things right when...
Read moreI’d like to start by saying this office is beautiful and clean, and everyone you meet is very nice. I also can’t speak on Dr. Marotta’s work because I have never seen him. I asked to talk or have a meeting with him about my experience since he owns the establishment and I’m unhappy but was denied that.
That being said Dr. Andolina did my breast augmentation June 2023. Went in for a consultation blind not really knowing what to expect. My breasts were saggy, very saggy. Nipples pointing straight down pretty much. I assumed I needed the works (augmentation and a lift) since I had so much stretched skin and sag. Dr. Andolina told me I just needed the augmentation. He said and I quote, “there’s a 90% chance I won’t need the lift.” I DID indeed need the lift. However I was reassured multiple times during my healing visits when I kept questioning why my nipples were so low still, that it’s just the way the healing happens and to just wait. 3 months post op he said he doesn’t believe they will drop more, 6 months post op I was told there was no way they would drop any and that my breast tissue didn’t move where it “should” have.
I’m not a breast doctor however it’s very weird when I knew I needed a lift and was told basically no, it wasn’t necessary. Also everytime I had a complaint, or question it was just dismissed as “normal.” The last time I went in completely unhappy and wanting to see what we could do next to fix this, he stood with his arms crossed while I talked. Very nonchalant, didn’t do a thorough examination. I told him my breasts go into my armpit when I lay down on 2 separate occasions and was never told to lay down at the office so they could see. Was also told they would call me a couple days after the last appointment to see what I wanted to do as far as next steps, and never got the call which shows they truly don’t care that much. Now I’m a year post op having to get another surgery (I’m going elsewhere) to have the lift done because I feel very uneasy going back to an inexperienced doctor… and I’m only saying this because I’ve visited a few very experienced doctors (30+ years in industry) and the consultation was...
