Stuff A Bagel — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I recently visited this new Stuff A Bagel on Jericho Turnpike and it was great! This location has always been a bagel store, and has changed hands and names over the years. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had done some renovations to update the interior, and it looks great. It's bright, clean, and inviting. It seems to be family owned, pr family run, and every person I encountered there was as nice as could be. The bagels were delicious, light and soft. The sandwiches were great, too. The best thing, in my opinion, was when I ordered an iced coffee and they went to the back and put frozen coffee ice cubes in my cup! If I could give them no star I would. The bagels we received were as hard as a rock. You could literally play hockey with them!! Felt like I was going to break a tooth when I bit into it. I noticed they also dont like to take accountability on previous reviews from other people that have complained, thats actually sad. I knocked on the bagel and my Mother asked me "Whos at the door?" Can you believe that? Then you call them to make them aware of the situation and they gas light you saying "thats impossible" & "none of our bagels are ever burnt"..and they do nothing to rectify the situation. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered an everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese. I pay and the lady hands it to me. After I sat down in the store to eat, I open the bagel,like I always do, and I see something black with legs sticking up. It was a freaking fly!! Omg my stomach turned so fast. I went up to the lady to show her and she acted clueless. I don't understand how she spread the cream cheese around the bagel and did not see that. They gave me a different bagel but I wanted my money back. Who knows what their doing behind the counter. If there is a fly in my food they must have...
