Without a doubt, this is the best antique shop in the area. Jim takes incredible pride in what he does, and makes sure to source all of the best inventory on a regular basis. Unlike many other shops that passively receive new (old) stuff here and there… Jim ACTIVELY makes sure the store is always FRESHLY stocked. Like literally every single day. Truthfully, I work right next-door, but I still feel like if I don’t go to the store every single day, I miss all sorts of new things. If it’s possible for an antique shop to be cutting edge, let me tell you, Jim is running a cutting edge antique shop. I rarely if ever write reviews, but we just left James McGuire Antiques and we were blown away by the beauty of their selection and the incredible owner(s). My 7 year old daughter is recently very into antiquing - she loves American Pickers and James McGuire himself made her entire life (and my two sons) with his kindness and generosity. She has a piece now that she will treasure forever - with a great memory attached. What a wonderful place with wonderful people. Definitely a must go! We will be back....

In our opinion, the best antique store on Long Island! The selection is always interesting, many different styles and types of products.
