Nurel's Farm Stand — Local services in Town of Southampton

I’d never been here before but heard great things, I figured I’d stop before work. When I pulled in this morning half the parking lot was roped off and there was a man fully engaged in an altercation with a driver of a pick up truck, their altercation was blocking the only spaces not roped off. The man ran up my car window demanding to know what I was doing there, Im thinking they’re closed or something and I tell the man I’ve made a wrong turn. (Like… there’s two people fighting, no where to park and now I’m getting screamed at.. I clearly made a wrong turn.) I’m thinking he’ll let me leave but he proceeds to curse at me, telling me I can’t just make u-turns here, while demanding I leave he stands behind my truck photographing my license plate and telling me he’s sending the police after me. It’s safe to say I won’t be even attempting to shop here ever. The screaming man was wearing a shirt w farm stands logo, so I can only assume they condone...

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but to those who did not give Nurel's a 5* IT'S YOU, NOT THEM (ALL 5* reviews can't be wrong)! Nurel's is a smalltown farmer's market which is what you all come to the Hamptons for! The reason you come out here is so you can tell people "I went to the Hamptons" looking to gain points like you're loaded! There is nothing wrong with the prices especially when you consider the fact that everything is fresh (plants, flowers, fruits, & vegetables).

The people who work there live here year-round & are extremely friendly as well as honest! I've known Tony since he started with a road-side stand & SO happy for him that he was able to expand his business--congratulations Tony! Again, that is what you want when you come out here. My family and I have been going to Nurel's for as long as I can remember for our produce and weekly pie when going out to Hampton Bays for the weekends in the summer. Tony is a fantastic man, always looking to make your experience more enjoyable and will even just chat it up for a while if there aren't any other customers waiting for his fantastic service.
