Wickham's farm is a local treasure. It's a 5 generation family own farm. You cannot buy quality this good in any store. Their pies, apple cider donuts, scones, jams, fruits, and vegetables are all grown with a lot of love.
Mr. Wickham and his staff greeted me and my family with a smile even though they were closing up by the time I arrived. I bought the last 2 ears of corn they had in the store, and I wish I could have purchased more! The corn was incredibly sweet!
I purchased the raspberry scones, which were freshly baked. They were scrumptious, to say the least. As an avid baker, I can honestly say Wickham's scones were fabulous!
Their apple cider donuts are the best I've ever had. I'm in the top 10% of reviewers for eateries and restaurants. The aroma tantalizes you when you first arrive. Even if you don't like donuts, your mouth will water from the heavenly aroma!
I also purchased a raspberry peach pie. I have never enjoyed a peach pie that had thick slices of fresh, juicy peaces slathered in fresh raspberries before. You can clearly taste the quality and expertise with each bite. This must be a family recipe because it was so unique and carefully crafted.
I intend to make Wickham's a key east end destination from here on out. If you are reading this, I would ignore the few negative comments left by people who clearly do not appreciate the effort that goes into farm to table food. Visit Wickham's farm by yourself or with your family. It's...
ย ย ย Read moreMy friend, her son (3 years old), and I went to Wickham's farm to go apple picking yesterday. We passed many other farms that offer apple picking on our way because her son wanted to go to the same place we went to last year which was Wickham's. Last year we came across Wickham's because it was the only one open early enough in the season to offer apple picking. I wanted to go somewhere closer but I am so happy her son wanted to go to the same place because we had the best experience ever. I will now always be passing all the other farms and take the extra drive to come to Wickham's. First off, you cannot beat the price and the variety of apples that are offered. The other farms are more than double the price for apple picking. This also includes a tractor ride to the apple trees. Mr. Wickham happened to be our tractor driver and he took us on a tour of the entire farm passing by beautiful views of the water. The farm stand also offers a nice variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, fresh butter, and freshly baked bread right on site. I definitely recommend taking the extra drive out to...

We've already taken trips to that farm prior . And never had an issue but unfortunately, the world is filled with simple and hateful people that have minds that go no further then a cardboard box . The owner Mrs. Wickhams herself was extremely disrespectful to our consumers and categorized them as if they weren't people like you and I.
"I don't want them touching anything , they are bad for business "
One of our friendly consumers patted her on the shoulder and her face was filled with disgust and she said "he's touching me I don't want him touching me " . She made them all feel sooo uncomfortable. And wasn't mindful of her attitude and or the way she was turning away our business. She blatantly told us that she didn't care if we left or not. These were a group of people who had disabilities and special needs.
I hope this post will...
