CNY Flooring — Local services in Town of Sullivan

Awful people. We took two samples for a bathroom remodel and we're deciding whether to go with vinyl or doing an upgrade to tile. A delayed tub and countertops from Lowe's had put us behind schedule and we hadn't gotten the samples back, mainly due to waiting to decide on what material to use. The samples they gave us looked cheap so we had somewhat decided that we were going to do actual tile. We live about 45 minutes away also, which complicated things and I wanted to really look at my options when we went back, so I needed to find a time where both my husband and I could walk the showroom together around our work schedules, the remodel, and a sick child. Meanwhile, the snarky phone calls began, demanding the samples back. Every phone call came with a pompous, arrogant attitude, literally passive aggressively laughing on my voicemails at the apparent absurdity of someone holding onto samples....which quickly made my decision for me-- we would not be using this company for flooring. This final harassing phone call made up my mind ..after we drop off these low budget samples back to CNY, We will be ordering tile from another more reputable company, with better customer service skills, who didn't at all mind us taking samples for as long as we needed in order to make a sound decision. I would have rather paid a rental fee for samples and not been harassed. As someone who used to be an interior designer and worked with countless design houses and contactors/subs, these people need a lesson in not biting off your nose to spite your face. I have 2500 sq feet worth of house to floor and you're worried about two linoleum...

Really disappointed with how the work has held up. I had them come and install carpet in my bedroom, as well as flooring in my dining room and kitchen. The dining room needed a subfloor installed, and they did not match it up properly with the kitchen so the boards have since cracked from bowing to compensate. They never finished trim in certain areas, and I had called them back to fix the corner in my bedroom that wasn't tacked down properly, which was handled very haphazardly and the "fix" did not last. Never again.

Just to reiterate... I did infact contact you to come back, and as I stated.. and you did come back - and did just as shotty of a job. You told me there was nothing that could be done about the spot in the kitchen entry way that I'm speaking of. Why would I ask a third time? I just think people should be aware of what they're paying for if they do...

Hello I hope Terry gets this , a couple months ago after trying in vain to have work on our '79 modular we purchased , we got ahold of CNYflooring went to their shop looked at a Few Samples they had took them home and back in a day or so mind you some samples are in/on a binder , chose a couple replaced carpet and put down some linoleum in Mstr; bath ( which had Carpet ) WT?? who does that ? ! Anyway they scheduled a time got here 1/2 hr b4 go time each day I belive it took 2 days to put new living room and Master bedroom carpet , do the bathroom and one or 2 10x12 bdrms; Good job and conversational as well , we Karen N Mikey moved here from Alaska 6 months ago lovin'it !! Karen even let me get a '69 Mustang , ooooobaby...
