This is one of the best Chinese American take out restaurants in the area! The General Tso’s is one of the best in Syracuse! The won ton soup isn’t the best I’ve had however (somewhat salty and has too many wontons), but that’s just my preference. Lo mein is amazing & never dry! Boneless spareribs is another perfect suggestion and is a plentiful amount! Most of all, it is a family run business that owns and runs China King. They’re a beautiful family and their two sons have been raised up learning to run a business under the guidance of their two parents - achieving the American dream! It’s always nice coming in to pick up our order within 5-10 minutes even on a weekend! All the bad reviews idk why??? This is and has been a staple in Chittenango and I hope they are here to stay! Many places have left the village of Chittenango (i.e. Pizza Hut etc.) this has been able to hold on and for a reason - it’s consistent and makes delicious food with great service. Perhaps the person who wrote that they were rude needs to educate themselves on different cultures. I just ordered our favorite and can’t wait to pick it up - General Tso’s extra crispy & extra spicy - I know it will be the same as every...
Read moreI’ve eaten at many different Chinese take-out locations. I get the same thing from every place. This is by far the worst Chinese take-out that I’ve ever eaten. I would all day rather eat food court Chinese. The lady who took my phone call was so unbelievably rude on the phone and no better in person. There were little kids scattered around the restaurant playing games and hanging out and The food..the food was so horribly unflavorful. Every time I took a bite i just waited for the flavor to kick in. But it never did. The crab Rangoon was just puréed yogurt flavored cheese with zero vegetables, the fried dumpling was again so unflavorful and so soggy! Sweet and sour chicken was the most bland of the meal and the sweet and sour sauce didn’t make it any better because clearly they cheaped out there. Truthfully the best part the meal was the child sized egg roll. I would classify this Chinese take-out food as mid-priced garbage. Lesson learned. Shame on anyone who said this...
Read moreI ordered a combo with fried rice and a pint of lo mien at 10 minutes after 6 pm on a friday. I was told that it would be 1/2 hour. I arrived 35 minutes later to find that they hadn't even started cooking my order. After standing there for another 25 minutes they give me a combo with the lo mien and no fried rice. Instead of apologizing and correcting the order that cost $9.13, I was asked if I wanted to pay $2.00 more to get the fried rice. I stated no never mind it's been an hour since I first placed my order.
So if you expect to get what you asked for in the time frame promised by the restaurant, go somewhere else for the...
