went here for the first and last time this weekend — walked in, and not a single barista greeted us, but would kind of look and side eye while we waited to be helped?? we were three feet away and the girls would literally just jut their eyes in our direction before looking away, so weird! no rush to to take an order, we can wait that’s always fine, but at least a hi, how are you, we will be right with you? i swearrrrr customer service is not that hard as someone who worked service jobs in school and in my 20’s!! we all know you don’t want to be there but sadly we sign up to pretend. but they looked like they were disgusted we were there, yet meanwhile this was the filthiest coffee shop i’ve ever been in. there were milk cartons everywhere (unsure if empty which is horrific), coffee grounds everywhere, trash everywhere which felt so stark with the entirely sterile looking environment they’re going for. the coffee wasn’t great (drinkable but drive fifteen minutes and get better brewed coffee from recess), and we can really do better than the horrific amount of plastic waste by putting a rubber duck in drinks. you know those will ALL end up in the landfill, it takes one second of thinking to realize that and just….not. just a shop with no consciousness or awareness and that’s not my vibe or where i want my...
Read moreSerendipity Cafe is every coffee shop lover’s dream. To start, the whole space is crisp and minimalist. Everything is picture-worthy. The drinks are not only fun and delicious: it’s evident that the baristas making them know what they are doing. They currently use Salt City coffee which is a local Syracuse-based coffee roaster. I had the pistachio milk latte which was both unique and the perfect balance of sweet but not too sweet. I also tried the Nutella mocha and it will be...

I got the seasonal flight and the breakfast sandwich. Both were great. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Staff are all friendly and service is great.
There is plenty of seating with outlets throughout. No couches, just a mix of regular and high-top tables, with bar-style seating by the window. The space is a little on the small side and gets loud when full. Doesn't really have that calm chill vibe as a result. But maybe that's not your vibe. Maybe an energetic social space is what you're looking for. If so,...
