The face mask rule clearly doesn't exitis there. Several employees had them hanging from one ear or were not wearing one at all. Even costumers entering the store (a very old man,in fact) didn't have one on. The costumer service employee had no clue how to process an online order return. Instead of getting someone to help she just kept repeating she never done this before. Finally, a gentleman from a back office came out and took charge. He called the Ace Hardware costumer service line and processed the return with no issue. Outstanding service and offerings for a small town hardware store. Prices are competitive, usually within a very reasonable margin of Lowes, Home Depot, or ordering online, well worth the time saved and the customer service. I’ve called in orders on the phone minutes before closing and they’ve sat them on a pallet outside for me, and still came out to help load when we pulled in two minutes after closing. This store has excellent customer service, all the employees are very helpful. The paint dept is excellent, they have the capability to mix most any color sold by other stores, including the 2 notable big box. Bring the paint chip and decide which price range/brand you want to purchase. The lumber stocked here is of good quality and fairly priced. The yard help is courtious and will get you loaded quickly.
