Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Town of Union

I've stopped here before, and purchased! Well today I called about vinyl and laminate flooring because we are remodeling. Of course we want the best price we can find. I called to get prices because that's what they are there for, and I'm not driving an hour to get prices that I may not find to be compelling to make the drive. At first the women that answered was polite and told me they had both flooring I was looking for. I asked what the prices were per square foot. She told me she would find someone to ask. I was on hold for about 5 min (not a problem, I don't mind waiting). She came back on and said she was still looking for someone (again, NO PROBLEM). She buzzed back on and said "they start at 0.79 a square foot." Okay but what's highest price then? She got all huffy and asked the man who "knew" and he said some of the water proof ones are up to 2.49 a square foot. I said thanks and she said "yep" and hung up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! As if I inconvenienced you? No you don't need to rambled off every price, but I don't want starting prices on flooring... I did want a water proof one, I told her that. She should have got a quote for the water proof ones like I requested. I don't expect to anyone to try and explain the colors and finishes over the phone. Of course thats just silly. But I said we were looking to compare prices from other stores. Most were around 2.50 elsewhere. So how is giving me starting prices helpful? And an estimate of the highest price?...

While I was shopping at this location on the weekend of 10/21/23, my fiancé and I had to use the restrooms. As soon as we turned the corner to the space of where the bathrooms are located all we could smell was the stench of sewer and feces. As I entered the ladies room the smell only became worse. I noticed big black flies flying around when I first entered. I used the handicap stall. As I sat down I couldn’t help but notice how awful the smell was and how dirty I felt just being there. As I was sitting on the toilet I saw that there were two large holes in the wall ahead of me that had been packed with plastic shopping bags, I do not know if there was anything in the bags. The bathroom also had not been cleaned. There were feces all over both of the toilets and there was barely any hand soap. In the men’s bathroom, the laminate flooring underneath the urinal was non-existent and the sub floor was saturated and reeked of urine. My fiancé had to use the stall and the lock was broken and barely functional. There were big black flies in the men’s room as well. We’re not sure how a company can let their customers and staff use such...

I've had 2 of the WORST experiences ever had at a store, and it was all in a period of 2 small trips in 2 short days. Their computer was "down," so I hauled a 12x15 roll of linoleum all the way back there from Apalachin just for them to tell me I had to haul it all they way back home bc they would not let me do an exchange nor give me my refund. They also lie about their products and use false advertisements, as they advertise "their price is better than all competitors' prices. With that advertisement, I was suckered into buying 6 boxes of laminent flooring at $28 a case, just to go over to Home Depot afterward and find the exact same flooring for $19 a box. Also, my roll of linoleum is still sitting at Ollie's as I talked them into letting me leave it there so I didn't have to haul it back to Apalachin in our tiny jeep, and they STILL have yet to call me for my refund after day 2 now. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE besides one nice gentleman who helped me out. I wish I had his name to give HIM 5 star's, However, the store I give 2 Star's overall, as they do still have SOME...
