VBS — Local services in Town of Union

Last week I went into a jewelry shop on Washington Ave. in Endicott, (VBS) looking for some specific jewelry. John is the owner, and has been in the jewelry business for over 40 years. To say he is extremely knowledgeable in the jewelry field is an understatement, as his years of expertise, gathered from attending auctions, trade shows, etc… is very obvious the first moment he discusses jewelry. John treats his customers with respect, while listening to what you might be looking for in a quality and price range, and cordially helps you find your perfect item from the large inventory he has in his shop. I couldn’t be more pleased with the item I picked out from John’s inventory, and was very happy with the quality and cost. The best thing I liked about John is, that he Isn’t pushy, and his wit and charm add to the shopping experience. I honestly believe John’s shop and his expertise, offer a wonderful experience for anyone looking for that perfect item! Give his shop (VBS) a try, before going to those chain retail stores and spending much more, and getting much less than John...

John has been an astute professional when I have gone into his shop. I have sold him a number of items I no longer had a need for. His buyout prices are fair. He also kept a family item I sold him at one point when I desperately needed the income for an emergency vet bill. He promised me I could buy it back if I ever wanted to. This week, which is many years later, I bought it back! It was so nice to be able to reclaim something that was part of my family history. He could have sold it over the years and probably made some cash off of it too- but he held onto it and I was able to buy it back. He is an interesting cat and always has some stories to tell! He always is willing to share his wealth of knowledge and teach you something if you are interested to learn. Can’t beat that! Thank you John! Some of the best service I've ever been met with in my life. This man is a true professional and a seasoned veteran of valuables. I did my research before deciding to go here, and I'm glad I did. Whether selling or buying, you'll come out with fuller pockets than you expected. But more importantly, you'll be treated like an old friend. He didn't just write me a check, but shared a whole story regarding his business and why he does little things to keep his customers happy.

The store itself is nothing to sneeze at either. No sterile glass cases of your typical jewelers and shops. It's instantly apparent you're somewhere special; walls and counters peppered with eye-catching antiques and jewelry. It's the type of place you could spend much longer in than you expected.
