Walgreens — Local services in Town of Van Buren

I could not believe when I began to read the reviews that someone else mentioned the pharmacy tech with the long hair& awful attitude. He is beyond rude& his lack of desire to work actually affects my prescriptions. He has asked me to come back in the morning while I am sitting in the drive-thru with a Walgreens text saying my script is ready for pick up. I am a school teacher?! He wants me to take the day off to pick up a prescription that is already supposed to be filled? I switched pharmacies bc of this arrogant, awful man. My dr recently put in my prescription & sent it to Walgreens before asking. He offered to change it but I said it was fine.. one time deal, can’t be that bad again, right? Wrong. I got the surfer boy “too cool to work” pharmacy tech and an hour later was in tears on the phone with the store manager. The minute I asked for the number at the pharmacy counter my prescription was filled instantly. I still followed through with the call bc this guy is too much. No one should be treated in the demeaning way he treats& talks to people. The store owner is calling me tomorrow, since the manager said I’m not the first to complain. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here on photos over the last year and other items. I just drove 30 mins in a complete blizzard to pick up $50 worth of photos, called ahead to let them know I would be there right at 959pm. The young female on the phone was incredibly rude. I got there in the blizzard at 959pm as she was locking the door. Walgreens closes at 10pm. I was at the door at 959pm. She looked at me smiled and brought my photos to the back laughing while dancing. That’s incredibly rude to say the least. Perhaps the worst customer service experience I ever remember as these photos and magents and gifts were for my family for Christmas. You’ve lost my business. The first thing this pharmacy needs to do is get rid of the Pharmacy tech with the beard, long hair and tattoo's! This guy is nothing short of extremely rude and condescending. No personality at all, acts like it's a huge deal to have to get your prescription and just gives an air of arrogance that is hard to deal with. I will not be spending one more dime in this store.
