River Valley Arts Center — Local services in Town of Wappinger

We hosted an intimate bridal shower for my youngest sister at RVAC and it was absolutely perfect! A truly special day! The space (we were in the DeMille Room) was absolutely spotless when we arrived for setup. All tables and chairs were included and they were in the room waiting for us to use as needed.

The room is mostly neutral with a ton of natural light - it was gorgeous. It had some beautiful artwork and it paired so well with the decor we brought in to setup.

We were able to use the kitchen to refrigerate a few things for the event and it was so convenient. We had full control of the ACs in the room and were extremely comfortable for the duration of the event.

Communication with Michelle was easy, detailed and so comfortable. She is the best!

Our guests had an easy time finding the location, on-street parking was great. Everyone had a wonderful time! Really - I have nothing but good things to say!

I 100% recommend RVAC for any event and will definitely be back to host more at this...

We had my daughters 7th birthday party at River Valley Arts. Tbh I didn’t know what to expect I had heard some good things, but had never personally been there. My daughter chose to have a glow party and let me tell you it was awesome! The kids had so much fun! I had fun! I didn’t have to do much at all, our party host Danielle was awesome, she went above and beyond anything I would have expected. She had the kids excited and engaged. She was able to rein in over 15 6 and 7 year old kids and smoothly transition between activities, she was able to head games and keep them excited. I was able to socialize and enjoy watching the kids instead of running around doing everything myself. It was such a good time. All the kids had a blast and I even received texts that the kids were saying it was the best party they had been too. I’m so glad we decided to do her party here over bounce or the bowling alley. It was much more cost effective and so much more fun. Thanks RVAC...

River Valley Arts Center (RVCA) is exactly what the village of Wappingers Falls, NY needed. Over the last year, I have attended many amazing workshops, classes, & holiday markets at RVAC. It is a great venue for community events. A few of my favorites this year were the Murder Mystery Night, Christmas photos with Santa and the Twilight Holiday Market. Each event was well executed and brought community members together for a fun day (or evening) out. The space has a great lay out for a variety of different types of events and is always in pristine condition.

I am currently in the process of planning my daughters birthday party here, having a winter birthday, there are not a ton of local indoor options. RVAC has a gorgeous, well stocked kitchen for us to utilize and plenty of gathering space to us to use as we see fit.
