Village Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Wappinger

I had the pleasure of bringing my granddaughter to your creamery today with a family friend. She is five years old and was delighted to sit outside and say hello to other patrons while she enjoyed her ice cream. I ordered a frozen ice cream pie and asked the girl at the window if she would hold it while we made a quick run to the store and she said no problem . Then the storm started, and we went home, forgetting to pick it up. Two hours later, we called, and they were closed due to the storm, but decided to deliver our frozen pie personally. WOW! Best ice cream ever! Fresh, light on the stomach, creamy. I had the managers special with fresh served strawberries. My spouse had a soft serve choc ice cream in a choc peanut dipped cone. He Especially loved the cone! The whole ride home we talked about how great the quality and price was. Service was quick and friendly. Nice little small town creamery with all types of frozen treats and even some food. Family had just go done taking the kids to Fun Max close by and the kids were hungry and wanted ice cream. Everyone got some burgers and fries which were really good. Then for dessert a couple of ice creams. They use Perry Ice cream which is one of our favorites.
