We were driving upstate from NYC and had a flat tire close to Liberty. AAA came very quickly to put the donut tire on and suggested a place that was close by to buy a new tire and have it replaced. That place was not open when we went there. Being able to drive on the donut tire for a short time was becoming stressful. We were advised to drive to Walmart in Monticello. They were fully booked and could not help us, but we were able to buy a tire. Still with noone to put the tire on we were becoming extremely stressed. The horse farm we were visiting started helping us find someone and our friend there found Richie’s Auto and Tires.. On the phone he was incredible. He told me to look on the tire and it would tell me how many miles I could drive on the donut. I couldn’t find the info so he looked it up for me and told me we could make it to his shop and how to get there. He then took the info from our new tire so he would be ready to fix it when we arrived. When we arrived I immediately knew how great a mechanic he was by the questions he was asking me. He was as knowledgeable as the service people at Toyota. He fixed it very quickly but thoroughly and even reset the sensors on the tires. Called and made an appointment. Need work done on my older car. He took it in and worked on it and charged me a very reasonable price for all of their time. Received a ride to and from and that was more than appreciated. Was very good to my old car. Trustworthy service.!!

I'm here to add that this hard working mand and his crew literally saved me today. Batteryalternator. Autoo zone couldnt do anything in the rain. Then my car died. Richie and his worker came to check on it found out it was the alternator. They set ke up to drive it to the shop and followed me there, for my safety.

Very, very busy man but him and his mecahnic worked on my car and I have it back at the end of the day. I can't say enough good things about Richie and his business. So refreshing to say the very least.

I came here when the check engine light came on on my Wrangler. So I came to Richie’s‘s for them to look at it. I explain the situation to them, and they took their time to diagnose the car and let me know what’s wrong with it.

Because I was already going to a different body shop to get some other repairs done They told me that it wasn’t worth it for them to hold onto it and fix it and said I should just go where I was already planning to go and bring my business there. I thanked them for their help and insisted on paying them, but they said it was OK since even though they spent their time diagnosing the issue, they didn’t do any work on the car.

I really appreciate that they went through to that length to help me, and even though They didn’t work with this time around, I’ll definitely go to their shop if there’s ever a problem in the future. I definitely trust these guys, and highly...
