I ordered a coffee online from this shop and was very disappointed with the experience. The photo of the drink I ordered clearly showed it as iced, but when I picked it up it was hot. I politely explained to the waiter that I thought it was going to be iced because of the picture. Instead of understanding, he very rudely replied, “Well it said hot on the receipt.” I showed him the picture and explained again, but he just kept repeating the same line with no effort to help. After an awkward silence, I finally asked if he could please remake it iced since the photo was misleading. His response? A very curt, “I can put it over ice.” I assumed he would remake it properly, but instead he just handed me a cup of ice alongside the hot drink, clearly annoyed. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. I left with a drink I didn’t even want and a really negative impression of this place. Definitely not the kind of customer service I expect when I’m paying for coffee.

Best iced lattes around!!!! Love that this place came to Ellenville. It has been my go-to coffee spot for months now. Been here for both breakfast and dinner as well and the food and service is excellent. Great staff and vibe. Awesome beer selection.

This place is a diamond in the rough! Leslie was our server this evening. The Italian Grande was worthy of Arthur Avenue! Quality meats and cheeses, pounded thin fried cutlet, delicious!

Mushroom and Swiss was fresh, hot, and juicy!

Drinks were spot on. Best Mojita I’ve had in a long time. My daughter ordered the pancakes, she NEVER finishes her plate and ate the entire thing!

We usually skip through Ellenville (IYKYK) but this time we saw the area is being revitalized so we decided to give them a try.

We are coming back in the morning for pancakes!

Service was FAST, friendly, and will bring us back each time we come through the area.

This is my third time here at Underground and I have to say it’s been an 11/10 every time. The food is unbelievable, especially the garlic parmesan wings (my favorite). My husband and I also get along really well with server Richie. He’s very personable, hardworking, and always on top of anything you need.
