Ellenville Spice Fusion — Restaurant in Town of Wawarsing

My best friend and I went hiking at Minnewaska today and afterwards went for some delicious food from Ellenville Spice Fusion. We had never been here before, but found them online while searching for places to eat.

The food was so good! We both ordered the Cluckin 845 chicken Waffle Sandwich. She had non-spicy (just right for her), and I had spicy (a nice heat which cleared my sinuses). The waffle was warm, buttery and soft, the chicken tenders had a crisp crunchy breading on the outside and tender juicy chicken on the inside, there was a nice heat to the seasonings and the chipotle aoili was full of flavor. There was a cool crisp crunch to the slaw and some tang from the crisp pickle. A perfect blend of textures and flavors! I ordered the Honey Masala Melt to-go for later consumption.

We had the mango lassi to drink and it was so smooth and delicious!

The gentleman who took our order and made our food was very nice. We will definitely be back! No wait for a table, but only the one gentleman working, so we did wait a bit for our food. Wait time was not more than any...

Food Is extremely spicy. I would have enjoyed it had my tongue not been burning. If hot food is what you want, this place is for you. My wife generally enjoys spicy food and even she could not deal with it. She told me that they use cardamon. She was able to identify that. I wish these guys luck. Just be prepared it is extremely spicy. The prices are reasonable.

Quick response from owner. I had Seekh kabab Kati nan Chicken Tikka Kati nan Lamb over Rice 6 piece wings Large fries. Don't get me wrong. The food was good. It was just supremely spicy. If that's what people want give it to them. Maybe you can add some dishes that are for the faint of heart. Generally, I like Indian food, this is why we ordered so much. Went here for the first time yesterday for lunch and I am so glad I did. I had one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I ever had. It was the honey masala melt. The chicken was moist, crunchy, and served with a hot honey sauce (see menu for full description). OK so now for the not so good aspects. The outside and inside are nothing special to look at. In fact you might drive right by it without even noticing it. The inside is small with around 5 to 7 tables and their is an opening to the pizza place next door.
